Privacy notice

CONUK LIMITED (“we”, “us”) is a textile sourcing and production partner based in Richmond, London, United Kingdom. We decide how and why your personal information is used, which makes us the “controller” under UK data protection law.

When you send us an enquiry through the form on this site we receive:

• your name and email address
• your company name, if you choose to give it
• the product categories you say you are interested in
• the message you write

If you email us directly we receive your email address, your name if it shows, and whatever you write.

Our website host also receives standard technical data whenever the site is visited, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the date and time. This is needed to deliver and secure the site.

Please do not include sensitive information, such as health details, in your message. We do not need it.

• To reply to your enquiry and discuss possible work with you. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in running our business and answering people who contact us, and, where you are asking us about an order, taking steps at your request before a contract.
• To keep a record of our enquiries and dealings. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in running the business properly, and any legal obligation to keep records.
• To keep the website secure and working. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in protecting our site.

We do not sell personal information and we do not add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.

Enquiries are read by the people who run CONUK LIMITED. We also use a small number of service providers who handle information on our behalf:

• a form-delivery service, which passes the enquiry form to our email inbox
• our email provider, where our mailboxes are hosted
• our website host, which serves this site

We may also share information where the law requires it, for example with a court or regulator.

Some of these providers operate outside the UK, including in the United States. Where personal information is sent outside the UK it is protected by safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as an adequacy decision or approved contract terms. Email us if you would like more detail.

We keep an enquiry for as long as we need it to reply and to manage any working relationship that follows, and then delete or anonymise it. We keep it longer only if the law requires us to. If you ask us to delete your enquiry sooner, we will, unless we have to keep it.

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

• ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you
• have inaccurate information corrected
• ask us to delete your information
• ask us to restrict how we use it
• object to us using it for our legitimate interests
• ask for the information you gave us in a portable format, where that applies

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.

This website does not use cookies or similar tracking technologies. We do not run analytics or advertising trackers. If that changes, we will update this notice and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

When you send the enquiry form, your message is passed to our form-delivery provider, whose own privacy information applies to how it handles that step.

If we change how we use personal information we will update this page and the date at the top.
